Protective Fissure
The deep grooves and pits on the chewing surfaces of permanent molars can allow bacteria to accumulate and cause cavities. Fissure sealants protect these surfaces by covering them with a thin layer. The procedure is painless and can be completed very quickly. This treatment is especially important for protecting your child’s teeth and ensuring a cavity-free mouth when their permanent teeth are just coming in.
